The vast majority of news coverage about conservation focuses on the negative. It’s certainly true that there is much to be negative about, but there are also so many good things happening out there. Ambitious species reintroductions, fascinating new research, innovative techniques to fight climate change… the work of so many good people is going largely unnoticed. The sheer beauty and awesomeness of nature is the thing that inspired me to be writing this blog and pursuing a career in conservation in the first place.
